| Ok, so I'm in a bit of a tizzy. Last night I went to the inaugural meeting of the Social Media Club I was engaged in a great discussion with many like-minded folks and I've decided that I MUST blog. And while Xanga is fun and all, it doesn't do much for me professionally. So I'll continue to update here a little bit, but my real blog is now at www.shavingoccam.com. I'm dedicated to making this blog interesting, popular and readable.
Pray for me that I'll be able to keep up with it. My track record isn't good. And please come check it out, and by all means LEAVE ME A COMMENT!

| The past two days I have been sick. I received some random illness, which was passed from my wife to me. I don't know how it came to reside in my body, just that it has wreaked havoc on my chest and lungs and made me cough up more green fluid than I knew existed in my body. Antibiotics were prescribed yesterday and now I am finally seeing the light at the end of the phlegm tunnel.
So I've been working from home. We are at a critical time at the agency right now where some things are going to go right, or they will go horribly wrong. Not a good time to be sick. But alas, here I am, working from my couch and bed with the wireless connection (thank God for that). My house is wreck from the post-holidays and us being too sick to clean it up. We are slobs.
Tomorrow I am going in and I don't care who I get sick. The reason I stayed home today was that my co-workers asked me too - so they wouldn't get sick. Screw that. Take some Airborne tomorrow. I have to be in the office this week.
I think the cold medicine if raising my blood pressure. Actually, I'm pretty sure of this fact.

| Perhaps its the end of the holidays and all that they bring to look forward too. Perhaps it knowing that the grind is starting back up. But I hate this time of year. I hate taking down Christmas decorations. I hate that work becomes hard. I hate thinking about doing my taxes. I hate having no sports except basketball to look forward too. I hate that College Football is over.
My favorite season, by far, is fall. When I was a kid, Summer was my favorite season for the simple reason there was no school. Now Summer is one of my least favorite because of the heat. I still love July, when my birthday, my son's birthday and my anniversary is (although that is an expensive month). August is my least favorite month, except at the end when college football season starts. January is my second least favorite month. It seems that nothing good happens in January. Maybe this year I will be proven wrong.

| Tomorrow I leave for Chicago. I hate Chicago in December and I don't want to go - but it will be a good conference. I seem to only Xanga when I am leaving town. I wonder if that means something. Oh well, hope all is well with everyone.

| In just four short hours I will be winging my way to Las Vegas to speak at the Webmasterworld PubCon Conference. I'll be there all week I would say posting will be light because of my travels, but posting is always light. Just pray that I won't gamble away too much money. I love Vegas, but have been known to get carried away. Anyway, everyone have a great week.
